Due to the Barossa
escaping the ravages of phylloxera some of the world's oldest examples of
shiraz and grenache vines are still bearing. TAs always, shows that hint of trademark musk that denotes its Grenache heritage, but that muskiness then combined with the earth and spice of the other two varieties (Shiraz and
Mouvedre) gives a degree of complexity. Oak aged for 20 months, the wine was then blended and given a light filtration prior to bottling. No fining agents are used. |
