RobertParker.com Review: "Medium ruby-purple colour. White pepper, crushed cranberry and red cherry nose with a touch of cedar. High level of acidity and a medium level of fine tannins plenty of red berry fruit to flesh it out. Long finish." Rating: 90/100 Michael Cooper Review: "This popular red is grown entirely at Bannockburn. The 2008 vintage, matured for a year in French oak barriques, is weighty and supple, with full, ruby colour and a floral, spicy bouquet. It’s an instantly appealing wine, savoury, sweet-fruited and supple, with vibrant cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing excellent depth and complexity." Rating: 4/5 stars |
