| Comments: | An
animated and bright nose showing flashes of black pepper and stone fruits.
Rich and full bodied on the palate with flavours of blackcurrant, anise
and mixed spice. The palate is multi-layered and finishes with supple
tannin. This wine is beloved by the wine reviewers, with Robert Parker awarding it a score of 92/100, Matthew Jukes including it in his top 100 wines for 2007 and describing it as a "must buy", and Jancis Robinson proffering her praise of "An open, accessible wine that is already enjoyable. Big, bold and sweetish. Another great value wine." Downloadable Tasting Notes (PDF) |
