this wine undergoes the same passito (Amarone) process as the Estate's
"Serpico" label of semi-drying grapes. It displays a very deep
garnet-purple colour with notes of warm red currant, blackcurrant and
dried herbs and a subtle whiff of earth and black truffles. Crisp
medium-full bodied with a medium-high level of grainy tannins, it gives a
long somewhat chewy finish." www.erobertparker.com

"This wine could teach the whole of South America about fruit/oak/alcohol balance such is its impeccable fulcrum of flavours." Matthew Jukes |
