Comments: Bishop Shiraz is a full-bodied wine and made from 35-120 year-old vines in the Ebenezer sub-region of the Barossa Valley. This wine shows rich colour and vibrancy, with a fragrant nose.

James Halliday: "Deep, dense purple; a more immediately complex bouquet has elements of spice and herb that come through on the lively medium- to-full-bodied palate; there is a myriad of flavours to be found, yet they present a coherent whole through to the long finish." Rating: 96/100. Drink 2023

Matthew Jukes, Decanter Magazine, May 2011: "The Sheen encountered when you pour this wine carries the aroma and flavour, such is the mercurial polish and skill of winemaker Ben Glaetzer. Modern, vital but not posturing or bullish, this is a style of Shiraz which amazes palates new to Aussie wine." 4/5 stars
